Bill Banning Local Oil and Gas Regulations Fails

A Republican bill to ban local governments from regulating the oil and gas industry failed in a senate committee on a 4 to 1 vote.

The measure was introduced after several communities, mostly along the Front Range, issued temporary moratoriums on hydraulic fracturing. »Ê¹ÚÍøÖ·â€™s State Capitol reporter Bente Birkeland has more.
